"We met in such a cliché way, at a club in Budapest. It is Portugal, though, that has kept us together. I was born in Brisbane, Australia, but I'm half Hungarian, so I was studying Photography there. Then I started studying anatomy when I met, Luís, at the club. He was completing an Erasmus study abroad program at the same university. I knew I was done with Australia the moment I left. I needed a change. But I didn't have a plan when I was done with my program. Luís became that plan. I finished my program and flew after the small town boy from Santarém, Portugal. He's working in digital marketing at an architecture firm; I'm debating working at a hostel until I land a photography gig. But until then I'll learn to love Portugal like I love Luís."
