"Santarém is my blood. I am born and raised on these quiet cobblestones. I have worked at Cafeteria Portas Do Sol for 7 months now. Before this I studied art at Secundária Ginestal Machado. Eventually I would like to be a writer. I love writing fantasy and romance books. I've actually started about four or five, but I haven't finished them yet. I'm waiting on more inspiration. But it's hard to find that in Portugal. The country is very bland, and it could be much more beautiful. My friends think I'm not a good patriot for my country, but honestly, the citizens don't take good care of this country. It's becoming more and more run down every day. Santarém is nice because it is quiet, and Portas Do Sol is a delightful park, but I would love one day to adventure to somewhere new, somewhere that can help inspire me to finish my books. But until then, I will brew coffee to those passing through the town and enjoy my views from the doors of the sun."

Mas até lá, irei servir cafés aqueles que vierem à cidade e venham desfrutar das vistas das Portas do Sol.”
